The National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (“NAPIA”) is holding its Mid-Year Meeting from December 8-10, 2016, at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Membership in NAPIA is open to licensed public insurance adjusters, professionals (attorneys, engineers, accountants) and all suppliers to the first-party property insurance claims community.
During the two-day event, you can obtain up to five continuing education credits, in addition to hearing an update on current association legal and legislative matters and officer and committee reports.
A special treat this year is that attendees will also hear from Ann Frohman who was recently appointed as NAPIA’s liaison representative to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).

One professional education session you don’t want to miss is Chip Merlin’s presentation, Matching — Line of Sight and Pre-Loss Conditions, that will include a discussion of functional replacement cost coverage, new policy language, case law, regulations, and bulletins on matching issues.
If you have not signed up yet to attend the Mid-Year Meeting, don’t wait too long to sign up because the deadline for registration discounts and guaranteed room reservations is November 18th.
