President Ken Gilvary, the Windstorm Insurance Board of Directors, along with executive director MMG, are pleased to set forth the details for 2021 Windstorm Insurance Network Conference.
Take a few minutes to check out President Gilvary’s recent video here:
This year things will be a little bit different at the conference, but WIND continues its focus on networking, education, and training of all property insurance claim professionals together—first in a virtual space, and then a planned in-person meeting.
Here is what WIND is offering:
Sixteen educational classes from the comfort of your home or office—no shoes required.
Join the Virtual Conference from February 1- 4,2021, for courses like:
- Adventures in Insurance Land: A Journey Down the Fraud Rabbit Hole
- COVID-19: A Deep Dive into Coverage & Issues affecting Recovery for BI Losses
- CSI Michael- A Mexico Beach Case Study of Hurricane Wind and Storm Surge Claims
Plus many more.
The Conference Committee this year is led by Michelle Bratcher of Progressive, and her time and dedication to the educational courses has been outstanding. Her committee has made it possible for a virtual 5-hour ethics course, umpire certifications and re-certifications, along with appraiser certification and re-certification courses. It should also be noted that none of this would be possible without all the volunteer instructors who have devoted their time, energy, and now flexibility to putting on this conference.
And since we are all hopeful that in-person meetings will soon be safer, WIND is planning a Symposium starting on May 24, 2021, for NFIP, Umpires, Appraisers, and to allow us to see and meet our keynote speakers in-person. We look forward to welcoming, Josh Morgerman (“The Hurricane Man”), Admiral Thad Allen, and Dr. Phil Klotzbach. We hope you can join us at Renaissance Orlando SeaWorld!
