In a heartwarming turn of events that could only be described as a Christmas miracle, someone at State Farm has undoubtedly secured their spot on Santa’s “nice list.” This festive season brought an unexpected but joyous surprise for a State Farm policyholder who had been facing challenges with his insurance claim. In an extraordinary display of responsiveness and goodwill, State Farm took notice of a blog post sent by the policyholder. The claim was resolved, embodying the spirit of reflection and compassion that defines this time of year.
We received a very warm Christmas thank you note from State Farm policyholder Jim Little:

Eunice,
Nice speaking with you today.
As I mentioned on the phone, State Farm finally acquiesced after four months!
A key was citing the blog article by Merlin. Please pass this on to him with my regards and tell him he is free to use it. I have other exhibits if it would be of use to Merlin Law Group.
Regards,
Jim Little
The letter from Little to State Farm stated in part:
We have been deliberately left with the impression that State Farm was using an independent service to assess the situation, including providing a sample shingle for examination. We have recently learned that this is not the case as this examination and review was internal to State Farm and not a ‘service’ as has been asserted. An article by a law firm describes the exact situation we are facing with State Farm’s position (see attached).
The article Little referenced was, Are Your Roof Claims Being Properly Handled by State Farm in Good Faith? The State Farm Shingle Locator Service (aka RLS).
I am happy for Jim Little and the State Farm adjusters.
Thought For The Day
Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts.
