For 65 years, Greenspan Co./Adjusters International has been helping policyholders with insurance claims, but today Greenspan Co./Adjusters International helped six young people with their educations. This morning, at the City of Avondale’s Public Safety Facility, the Fire Service Educational Awards, called Inspire The Youth, were presented to the winners. Supported by the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association, these educational awards help young people achieve their educational and career goals.
In May, Greenspan Co./Adjusters International launched the Inspire The Youth, Fire Service Educational Award project. Contestants submitted 60 second videos about their future plans. In the second round of the project, finalists submitted essays to persuade the judges to award them funds towards their education. The first place winner was awarded $7,500 and the five runners-up were each awarded $500.00.
Steve P. Severaid, S.P.P.A., of GreenspanCo./Adjusters International, describes the contestants:
The videos posted by these young people show enthusiasm and ambition in their career goals and their written essays emphasize their commitment to education and training. Working with the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association is a great experience all around and you can see the same can-do attitude with these contest participants.
Thanks to Rich Hallock, of Greenspan Co./Adjusters International, we have a couple of the winning videos to share.
