Chip Merlin and I will be speaking on behalf of the Merlin Law Group at the Fall Georgia Association of Public Insurance Adjusters Meeting on October 4, 2016, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.

The Georgia Association is a growing group of top-notch public insurance adjusters who meet regularly to discuss how to better serve policyholders. This one day, low cost conference offers a plethora of continuing education credits and networking time. There is still time to register online for the conference.

The board of directors this year is led by J.P. Norton as President, Brandon Lewis as Vice President, Anita Taff as Treasurer, and Bob Ingram as Secretary.

The courses for October 4, 2016, will cover deposition tips, concurrent causation analysis, considerations for a public adjuster for cases in litigation, insurable interest, vacancy, and residence premise issues, a smoke and soot course, and the Georgia Office of Insurance regulatory update directly from the Legislative Liaison, Lindsey N. Scott.
