The 2nd Annual Meeting of the Georgia Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (GAPIA) will be held next Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, Georgia. Chip Merlin will be presenting along with a presentation from lobbyist Brandon Hembree.
If you are a Georgia licensed public adjuster this is an important meeting and a great opportunity to network with others who dedicate their profession to helping policyholders.
Continuing education credits will be provided for attendance.
The importance of GAPIA as an organization serving consumers cannot be overemphasized. The insurance industry is supposed to serve its customers, but rarely do I see any insurance industry executives leading the charge to self-regulate or promote laws that protect their own customers from improper treatment. The only licensed individuals, other than attorneys, that stand up for the interests of policyholders are public adjusters.
If you are a licensed public adjuster in Georgia, you need to be at this meeting.
