Ryan Fowler wants to help people by becoming a great trial attorney. If you want to help people, Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer’s College is where you go to help ground your dedication to serving people through trial work. Merlin Law Group trial attorney, Mike Poli, attended this school. Ryan Fowler is joining us in the Houston office and he is the second attorney in our firm who went to this very special school.
The Trial Lawyer’s College has a mission statement:
The Trial Lawyer’s College is dedicated to training and educating lawyers and judges who are committed to the jury system and to representing and obtaining justice for individuals; the poor, the injured, the forgotten, the voiceless, the defenseless and the damned, and to protecting the rights of such people from corporate and government oppression. In all of its activities, the Trial Lawyer’s College will foster and nourish an open atmosphere of caring for people regardless of their race, age, creed, religion, national origin, physical abilities, gender or sexual orientation.
Ryan Fowler is a Texan. He is a University of Texas “hook ’em horns” graduate. He then went to Baylor for law school where he successfully competed against other law students on Baylor’s very fine and nationally-ranked mock trial team. It is obvious that being in a courtroom arguing for people is what Ryan has studied for and what he enjoys doing for a living.
Ryan worked for other law firms before doing policyholder insurance coverage work. He obtained the designation as a Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and became Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
One thing I tell our clients and our policyholder advocate colleagues is that you better choose a law firm that will take cases to trial or insurance companies will never pay you fairly. Ryan Fowler is part of our growing team of Merlin Law Group trial lawyers ready to take cases all the way.
Rene Sigman told me that Ryan was special and could be a fantastic addition to our team in Houston. After meeting him, I agree and feel very fortunate to have him on our team and that he has chosen to use his considerable skills and experience to help policyholders against insurance companies and their very capable attorneys.
Thought For The Day
Lawyers should be chosen because they can demonstrate a history rich in human traits, the ability to care, the courage to fight, the will to win, a concern for the human condition, a passion for justice and simple uncompromising honesty. These are the traits of the lawyer.
