The Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) is planning a very special conference this spring, as 2012 marks the twenty year anniversary for FAPIA. Registration for the May 22-24, 2012 conference at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida is now open.
To celebrate 20 years, FAPIA is offering 20 CE credits for attendees. Florida’s Insurance Consumer Advocate, Robin Westcott, Esq., will be the keynote speaker. Senator Mike Fasano will attend the conference to receive FAPIA’S first annual Legislative Consumer Advocate Award, in recognition of his efforts in Tallahassee on behalf of Florida’s insurance consumers.

The Windstorm Insurance Network® will host its 4th Annual Wind Regional Symposium in Charlotte, North Carolina. This one day conference will be held on May 8, 2012. The agenda is filled with training and certification classes and includes an address by keynote speaker Ken Futch, CSP. Ken Futch is president of Ken Futch and Associates, an Atlanta-based training company that teaches organizations and individuals how to recognize and capitalize on opportunities. The in-demand WIND Umpire and WIND Appraisal certifications will be offered in the afternoon sessions.
